Seventeen files. One archive. Nobody has closed any of them.
The Open Files
Case records that were filed, forgotten, and finally handed back. Sign up for a badge, send your Runner into the field, and work out which parts of each file are exactly what they look like — and which aren't.
How it works
- Your badge is your save.
- Everything you find is written to the archive the moment you find it. Change phones, clear your cookies — it makes no difference.
- The Runner does the legwork.
- Send them to a location. They take a real fifteen to thirty minutes and come back with what was there.
- Not everything is a lead.
- Some of what comes back is exactly what it looks like. Some of it isn't. Sorting one from the other is the work.
- Reports wait, but not forever.
- A report left unclaimed for three days is shredded. What you've already filed is yours for good.
